Charles leads the business with a conviction that clear insight and good stories transform organisations. A highly experienced strategist and communicator, he made his name originally as Head of Marketing at the Victoria and Albert Museum (where he commissioned the iconic “Ace Caff” campaign) and then the Royal Horticultural Society. He then spent ten years leading the digital and corporate communications division of the TV company Twofour where he worked with GSK, Audi, the British Heart Foundation and the Royal Navy. Over the past twelve years he has focused Denhams’ attention on expert brands: organisations in healthcare, education and heritage with rich and complex stories to tell and multiple audiences to connect with. Charles read Classics at Cambridge and was Choate Fellow at Harvard University.
