There’s an army of non-professional carers out there who just aren’t being looked after. People looking after patients with bowel cancer need special support – and the pandemic only exacerbated the sense of isolation many carers feel.
In collaboration with DiCE, we spearheaded the creation of ‘Carer’s Connect,’ a user-friendly online portal that provides a community of support for carers throughout Europe. This transformative campaign made its debut in Portugal, Finland, Poland, and Slovenia and is complemented by a series of beautifully written carers’ guides in multiple languages.
