Rick Stein’s Road To Mexico, produced by Denhams for BBC2, has been shortlisted in the Best Programme category in the 2018 Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink awards.
The awards celebrate the best in food and drink writing and broadcasting and will be presented on 10th May 2018 at Fortnum & Mason’s flagship store in Piccadilly.
In the programme, the fifth episode of the series, Rick travels from Mexico City to the deserts of Oaxaca, stopping off on the way in Puebla, home to Mole, Mexico’s most famous meat stew. It was directed by David Pritchard and Ben Southwell and produced by Arezoo Farahzad.
