The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust has commissioned Denhams to produce a film for new staff joining the Trust.
Designed to be shown on staff induction days and also internally across all the hospital sites, the film features patients and members of staff, both medical and administrative, and highlights the care and dedication at the heart of the Trust.
Scripted and directed by Denhams’ Charlotte Barton, it was shot over 3 days at Royal Cornwall Hospital in Treliske, West Cornwall Hospital in Penzance and St Michael’s in Hayle. Cornwall-based Aerialize provided drone shots of all three sites. It was post-produced at Denhams and edited by Steve Newsham.
Charlotte Barton said, “The brief was an open one - to reflect back to staff the reason they do their jobs. It was a real pleasure to spend time in all three hospitals and bear witness to the hard graft and gentle care that happens day in day out within the Trust.”
Laura Mason from the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust added, “We’ve had a fantastic response to the video from staff who think it really reflects the pride they feel about the work they do for the Trust. Working with Denhams was a great experience - they were totally professional, creative and empathetic throughout.”
