DENHAMS’ RIVER WALKS EPISODE KICKS OFF THE SERIES MOVING TO BBC2

Denhams’ River Walks episode will kick off the regional BBC series’ move to a national broadcast on BBC 2 this weekend.

 

Presented by Jemma Woodman and focusing on the River Dart, the programme, which was first shown on BBC South West , is scheduled to air on BBC 2 on Saturday 9th February at 7pm.

 

During her culinary journey along the Dart Jemma explores some of the river’s famous landmarks and attractions as well as meeting those who get inspiration and food from the river.

 

At Foxtor Mire she has breakfast with arctic explorer Pen Haddow who trained there in preparation for his Polar expedition, before catching a steam train at South Devon Railway and heading to the Sharpham Estate where Jemma tries out their delicious wine. Finally in Dartmouth, she goes fishing for mackerel with celebrity chef Mitch Tonks as he prepares dinner on the Dart.
